       The synopsis is clever and compelling in practice, yet frighteningly hackneyed on paper. Ashton and Cameron somehow win a three million dollar casino jackpot in Vegas, then marry at the local marriage parlor, have wild orgiastic intercourse, then wake up to a chorus of Holy Shit OMG what did I do thoughts. This allows the judge, played brilliantly by Dennis Miller, to sentence them to six months hard labor (i.e. marriage). Naturally Queen Latifah is their marriage counselor because she has a Ph.D. in taxi cab driving. Ladies and gentleman: the jigsaw puzzle that is the world of the poor casting director. Who is available and when, does their availability match the shooting schedule, which trailer belongs to whom, and is the asking price right? These are questions that need to be answered and answered quickly.

      There is no lull in this film, every scene is accompanied by a laugh, a witty retort, and enough pseudo-sarcasm to entertain audiences. Most men will silently enjoy this film while their girlfriends will let the tears drop. Make no mistake, this is a chick flick, but it is suitable for men of all ages as well. Two thumbs up.
