P.S. I Watched This Movie

Caught in a life cycle of immense pleasure and that terrible loss, Hillary Swank portrays Holly Kennedy, the recently widowed wife of Gerard Butler, or in the film Gerry Kennedy. This is not an Oscar contender about ethnic triumph or feminism or politics and war, instead it is just a chick flick.

It is personally shocking that I enjoyed this movie because it contains neither comedy nor real nostalgia for me. The movie possesses a certain "Je ne sais quoi", it has the "it" factor, that indescribable character that comes across as special. Hillary Swank films are never my first choice, but her ability to become a character is stunning to watch and worth triple the ever growing price of a movie ticket. Curiously this film would seem boring and hackneyed on DVD, whereas in the theater it comes across as vivacious, full of treasurable moments, and as a memorable movie to think fondly when in deep thought about true romantic notions and encounters.

P.S. Take a date to watch this movie!
