Chris Evans, also known as "the human torch" was enough to make me salivate for the arrival of this movie. My girl-friend and I immediately rushed to the movie theater to drool over his "performance".
The movie happens in Hongkong with Nick Grant (the bodylicious Chris Evans) and Cassie Homes (Dakota Fanning), both of who possess extraordinary psychic powers. They are trying to find a girl who holds the key to bring "The Division" down. The Division is a government organization that tries to find clairvoyants to house a psychic army for the nation.
For a sci-fi thriller, it fails to thrill me. Even with Dakota Fanning in the roster, the director has failed to make the story into a compelling sci-fi movie. The plot is scatter-brained, and the ending is anticlimactic. Frankly, noone really knows what happens in the end.
The movie is not interesting enough and the actors' performances are mediocre. The language is tame and it would have been better if there were more action scenes and a broader array of special effects. Chris evans is hot but not hot enough to make me watch this movie again.
