Once Ray awakens he is given a choice. Either his half-brother will die or his wife will be raped and mutilated while he listens. Ray is not much of a fighter and he never really attempts to fight the stranger (played by Timothy Muskatell). The stranger gives Ray an axe with which he must decapitate his muffled half-brother. His choice is made significantly easier when the stranger presents pictures of his brother philandering in a cheap motel with his wife. These are not just any pictures, they present his wife as quite limber and she loves to be backdoored. Infuriated when confronted with these pictures, a panicked Ray slices open his brother's head with the weapon. Ray is instructed never to mention any of the revelations to his sexually depraved wife or she will be executed. Did I mention Ray has a glass eye? That small piece of information is essential to the storyline.
Once home it takes Ray three weeks before he begins the verbal onslaught against his unchaste wife. Once the process is started it is obvious the stranger is watching and listening at every turn. Detectives visit to question him about the disappearance of his brother. Soon thereafter the stranger emerges to shoot a hole in his wife's skull and he releases the brother's body into a local dumpster for the police to find. Every time Ray violates a rule mandated by the psychopathic stranger, one or all of his fingers are cut off. Finally, the detectives bring him to the station where he passes them a note stating that a killer is after him and will murder him if he reveals the truth to them. Being fascinated and a little twisted the detectives believe his story. It is only then that the madman kills them too and chops off the rest of Ray's fingers. Turns out he is all thumbs.
When Bloody Disgusting's Chop concludes with (SPOILER ALERT SPOILET ALERT) a not so shocking twist. Apparently, despite being taunted and confronted about his horrible crime against the stranger, the only thing Ray ever did to him was bump into him accidentally, nock over his keys and not apologize. That's it folks. No sleeping with the man's wife or beating him up or losing all his money in the stock market, just a good old-fashioned bump. If that won't get you killed what will? In the words of Christopher Witherspoon "Be careful who you piss off" and those are words to live (or die) by.
