The feature films at your disposal are Madea's Family Reunion which has added some much needed eye candy with the re-introduction of Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards and a great deal of comedy genius in the timeless Eugene Levy. Next on the buffet table is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter based on the bestselling novel by Seth Grahame-Smith. The storyline may be all too caught up in the mystical world of the undead but it packs quite a punch and at least it's semi-historical. What's hotter than a newly-divorced Katy Perry? Why Katy Perry in 3D of course. Go backstage, onstage and frontstage with our favorite pop star in her new extravaganza Katy Perry: Part of Me. Hey, it's better to see her parts than those of Mr. Brand X. Finally, try on for size the much-overhyped film Savages starring Mr. John Carter himself, Taylor Kitsch. I hate seeing Taylor in such a violent role because while reading the 8 novels by Burroughs that prominently feature the John Carter of Mars character I envisioned the knightly and honorable Kitsch, not the bloody disgusting trashy one.

When attending a film this 4th of July holiday please watch responsibly, sit comfortably, and for goodness sake do not scream like a 13 year old celebrity obsessed little girl. What happened to teenage angst? How come it has morphed into teenage horniness and shrill screaming at movie screens? Save your enthusiasm for the living, not for the holograms people. On that teenage note, signing off, catch ya later bro!
