Honestly, Cherry deserves little of my time and perhaps even less of your attention. Nevertheless, it does star Heather Graham and James Franco which should add at list a filament of interest for movie fans. Cherry first begins by having photographs taken of her in the nude. This quickly allows her to transition into single-player porn (a.k.a. self-masturbation films). Once she catches the attention of her director Margaret, a devout lesbian with her own tawdry agenda, Cherry begins to explore even more debauched avenues. Snore, zzzzzzzz, oh, am I still writing this review?

Cherry is a movie that lacks the essential ingredients necessary to be considered anything but cheap DVD trash. First, the acting is insanely contrived and unappealing. Second, the pace of the film is agonizingly slow. Third, and foremost, there is nothing sexy about this film and it is about porn for goodness sake! Go rent Bad Santa and have yourselves a laugh, because with Cherry you might experience a good cry and for all the wrong reasons.
