FDR (Pine) and Tuck (Hardy) are Central Intelligence Officers that accept the most daring missions imaginable. Their mini-adventures take them to lavish parties, to the edge of rooftops, and to a whole host of international locales where they enjoy such activities as near death experiences and gun shot wars. Two things are for sure; they always survive through bromancely teamwork, and they are the best of friends. On their latest mission FDR and Tuck's antics expose their operation causing them to fail to assassinate their primary target, Heinrich (Til Schweiger).

Once our dynamic duo returns to CIA headquarters it is obvious that Tuck misses his son and craves female attention in his life. FDR recommends he utilize a dating service (Fate.com which is a jest at services such as Match.com) to meet the woman of his dreams. Through some cruel twist of fate after Tuck's perfect date with Lauren (Witherspoon), she errantly encounters FDR at the video store. Fresh off the heels of a failed relationship with Steve (Warren Christie), she is vulnerable and in need of some serious bedridden attention. While FDR attempts to woo Lauren with his mad clubbing skills and classic Captain Kirk caveman charm the pants off you routine, Tuck goes for the sweet and sensitive angle. While Tuck is attuned to her needs, FDR is searching for the proper technique to fulfill his!

Lauren is normally Ms. serious relationship and play-it-safe but this time around, following the advice of her over-the hill friend Trish (comedian Chelsea Handler), that lives vicariously through her, she decides to date two luscious men at the same time. Although our blond beauty finds this immoral, she is strangely falling in love with both men and cannot seem to definitively choose between them. While Lauren is busy mulling over which man to choose and contemplating her sudden outbreak of immorality, Tuck and FDR go to extremes to woo her, including abusing their powers as secret agents. The CIA has been placed on full alert trying to determine Lauren's every move. Both agents have their own team of spies working undercover to help them be the first to penetrate the walls of love.

Regrettably, falling in love with the same woman causes the very best of friends, that have save one another's lives countless times, to lose all faith in their friendship. Being mutually in love with Lauren tears their friendship apart and sets them in opposite directions. To be honest, it is not entirely their fault because Lauren sends out all of the signals of being in love with both men and is not opposed to spreading her gymnastics skills around to both hulking specimens.

This Means War is charming and funny and edgy and really cool. On stunning Blu-ray and DVD this film showcases the talents of two young up and coming actors with a touch of brashness and boldness that may be unrivaled. Both Pine and Hardy are diametrical opposites but they work so well together. Opposites really do attract in their case. Witherspoon is so skinny that a regular size woman's left cheek is the size of Reese's entire bottom. She looks indulgently sexy in this picture. One can almost understand why the two eager agents pull so many shenanigans to win her love and affection. If I can't have her neither can you and This Means War!
