DeadHeads

DeadHeads is the story of two young men turned zombies in the prime of their lives. Mike and Brent become best friends and they support one another in all things death related. Before his future father-in-law injected him with the life-draining serum, Mike was prepared to propose to the love of his life Ellie (Natalia Victoria). Ellie is confounded by her feelings for Mike and is ambivalent about marrying him. Irrespective of his doubts, Mike believes he must tell her how he feels by proposing if it is the last thing he ever does. This is quite ironic since he is dead lol. Is lol now an acceptable Merriam-Webster's dictionary word? His quest for love and redemption takes him to their ten year high school reunion.

There is just one little hiccough standing in Mike's way; the zombie hit squad. Led by Thomas and McDinkle, the squad rampages across America in hot pursuit of the talking zombies. No matter how many times the dynamic duo is shot, they remain alive. Their psychology has not been altered however causing extreme mental anguish over being "killed" again and again. Along their way, Mike and the cynical Brent make a new friend whom they give the cognomen "Cheese". Cheese looks like Kevin McHale turned into Frankenstein. He grunts and moans and is eight feet tall. He protects the boys until a Thomas blows his brains out, literally.

When all is said and done, DeadHeads is a love story. What could be more touching than a decomposing corpse deprives of its arms and intestines and part of its forehead chasing after the lively (literally) girl of its dreams? This is a real Notebook kind of story, NOT. The premise even now is making my stomach jiggle from internalizing the laughter. DeadHeads is such a stupid and horrible movie, but a really funny stupid and horrible movie at that.
